This meeting started off with the promotions of Senior Airmen Hipp and Ybarra to the grade of Staff Sergeant. A huge step in their cadet career, we look forward to them going far, as they have shown great potential to do so. Afterwards, we had Character Development, which was led by Lt. Tami Ekstrand. It was on humility, focusing particularly on its characteristics and fruits and how to be humble. We were then taught a leadership class by Commander Bordonaro. After a breakdown of leadership and what it was, he showed us a video of Admiral William McRaven giving his famous speech on how to change the world, which was very uplifting and inspiring.
