Right after Opening Formation, a Character Development class was given by Lt. Tami Ekstrand on the importance of good relationships, which is one of Civil Air Patrol’s 5 Pillars of Wellness. During this time, a Wingman class, presented by C/2d Lt Hayden Bateman, was given to the beginning cadets on what a wingman is and what they do. After the completion of these both, C/1st Lt Britten taught a very interactive leadership class on the traits we would want to see in a leader. Afterwards, during Commander’s Call, C/1st Lt Menk got two 100% test scores on his 1st Lt. aerospace and leadership tests.
