VFW(N)-GilliamSergeant Gilliam has been an active member of the squadron since joining in December 2014.
Sergeant Gilliam consistently demonstrates motivation for himself and the squadron. Since joining, Sgt Gilliam has promoted regularly and in most cases within the minimum time allowed for promotion. Sgt Gilliam actively seeks additional responsibility. He has excelled in the Flight Sergeant role for our newest cadets.
In addition to being an active member of the squadron, he has been recognized for his work in the DDR program and has been selected to represent the program at other squadrons demonstrating the various impairment simulation equipment as well as facilitating discussion of the DDR program. Sergeant Gilliam completed the AE Model Rocketry program independently and is working toward his Ground Team Member Achievement.
I believe C/MSgt Mathias Gilliam is a solid, developing NCO and will be an outstanding leader for the future of our Squadron, Wing and Region.
