Air Force Association Award
C/2Lt Alan Larson
An annual award established by the Air Force Association (AFA) to recognize the outstanding CAP cadet in each squadron.
Lt. Larson has been one of our most consistent squadron members since joining in Aug 2010. He has distinguished himself at the squadron and wing level.
Within the squadron, he has served as an element leader, flight sergeant, first sergeant and cadet deputy commander and finally cadet commander.
C/2Lt. Larson is not only active with the squadron, having participated in orientation flights, and various staff assignments, but he also is active at wing events. He has attended 4 Minnesota Wing Encampments as both a student and staff, MLA-RCLS leadership school as well as Black CAP Emergency Training Events.
C/2Lt. Larson has always been there to take on any task and make sure it gets done. He plans to apply his knowledge of leadership and teamwork in the US Military and has as an enlisted in the US NAVY.
